About Us
Chic Basics, formally Chic Basics For Baby, was created in 2009 by two San Antonio moms, Michelle Prizevoits & Rebecca Sorenson. We created Chic Basics with the passion to make practical but chic items available to all moms, and for the past two years we've been doing just that! We started out with a few baby items and over the past two years we've expanded our lines to include items for all ages, a special line for little boys and a complete line of custom made handbags! Chic Basics now makes over 95 custom handmade items!
We participate in local craft shows in San Antonio and sell our products online all over the US. We take great pride in creating custom handmade items for babies, toddlers, teens & moms and with over 100 fabric choices we are sure we have something you'll love.
All of our products have been hand tested by our own children and we are sure yours will love them just as much! Together we can take something practical and make it chic!We were recently crowned one of Start-up Nations 2011 Top mom owned business in the US! Thousands of businesses entered and Chic Basics For Baby came in 63rd!

We are currently accepting payments through paypal.com and taking credit cards over the phone. After reviewing your order we will email you an invoice from paypal that you can complete online with a credit card or bank account, or you can call us with the credit card number you would like to be charged for the order.
Please note paypal invoices will come from Ladybug Babies or Bags By Birdie.
Your products will be shipped within 3 weeks after receiving payment.
Shipping starts at $8.50, but may be higher depending on the size of the order.
Please note USPS only provides tracking information for 6 months from the date of shipment. If you have a question regarding tracking your package you must contact us within that 6 month time frame in order for us to resolve the issue. Chic Basics, formally Chic Basics For Baby, will not be held responsible for shipments that are disputed after the 6 month shipping window because we are no longer able to dispute the issue with USPS.
If you live in the San Antonio area we are happy to schedule a time to meet you with your order in the 1604/281 area.
Because items are custom made just for you, all sales are final.
